Epic Health Services announces its most recent acquisition, this one being Virginia Beach, Va-based Rehabilitation Associates.
This recent acquisition enables Dallas-headquartered Epic Health Services to increase its footprint in the Virginia area.
Rehabilitation Associates, founded in 1986, provides occupational, physical, and speech therapy, special instruction, and service coordination for children with special needs, according to a media release from Epic Health Services Inc.
“Epic has a strong presence in pediatrics and understands the importance of providing the highest quality service to patients and their families,” says Tracy Miller, co-director and co-owner of Rehabilitation Associates, in the release. “We share a common patient-centric perspective, which makes the union of our two companies an ideal scenario.”
“In aligning ourselves with Epic Health Services, we will have the scale, breadth, and capabilities to accelerate our growth in the national arena of pediatric therapy services,” states Sherry Johnson, Rehabilitation Associates’ co-director and co-owner.
Epic Health Services, a portfolio company of Webster Capital, provides pediatric skilled nursing, therapy, and developmental, enteral, and respiratory services, per the release.
