Dynatronics, Salt Lake City, announces the formation of the Therapy Products Division of Dynatronics, which will include the operations of Dynatronics as a separate Division from Hausmann and Bird & Cronin. The new President of the Dynatronics’ Therapy Products Division will be Brian Baker.

According to a media release from Dynatronics, Baker comes to the company with more than 25 years’ experience of proven leadership in the medical device industry, including managerial responsibilities for sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, and quality. Baker will bring valuable skills and perspective to his leadership of the newly named Therapy Products Division, according to the media release.

Baker joined the company effective February 5, at which time all management of the Therapy Products Division was immediately transferred to him. The media release states that Dynatronics believes this reorganization will lead to improved profitability in the Therapy Products Division and the entire Dynatronics Corporation.

In the same manner as David Hausmann is responsible for the operations of the company’s Haussmann Division and Jason Anderson and Mike Cronin are responsible for the operations of our Bird and Cronin Division, Baker reportedly will lead all of the activities of the Therapy Products Division. The Presidents of each of the three divisions will work cooperatively with our Corporate Management team, led by Dave Wirthlin (Corporate CFO), Cindy McHenry (Corporate VP Operations), Jim Ogilvie (VP Corporate Development), and Skyler Black (Corporate Controller) to pursue Dynatronics’ corporate-wide objectives.

According to a statement from Dynatronics, Baker is a Utah native and began his career as an entrepreneur. He reportedly built and operated his business, Physician Industries Inc, as CEO for more than 13 years. Integra LifeSciences acquired Physician Industries in 2007, and Baker remained with Integra for 6 years in a variety of operating roles, including as Vice President of Operations. Most recently, Baker is reported to have served as the Vice President of Global Operations for SeaSpine Inc.
