The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is presenting a Physical Therapy Virtual for prospective physical therapist (PT) students as well as PT education programs aiming to recruit new students. The virtual fair will be September 16 and 17 and is free for potential students. The event will enable PT students to participate in live chats with Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs across the nation.
Prospective students can use the fair to find the best DPT program for them, ask questions, and receive tips on how to best prepare for the admissions process. This event is intended for college and high student students interested in becoming physical therapists, according to APTA.
For PT educational programs, the virtual fair may be a good opportunity to utilize new technology to effectively reach prospective students. The fair, hosted by CareerEco, enables educational programs to interact with potential students about their program in a cost-effective way. Programs will be able to interact with students in group or private chats as well as conduct live video chat sessions with students.
In addition, educational programs will be able to access valuable recruitment data about all students who register for the fair, upload multimedia resources to their virtual booth, and view a list of students who are explicitly interested in learning more about their specific program.
