Physical therapists in Alabama now have a simpler way to complete various license applications quickly and efficiently online.
A suite of four applications—Address List, License Name Change/Reprint, Initial License, and License Verification—were recently launched on the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy’s website.
Along with the Board’s existing License Renewal application, all five have been merged into one user interface, with the aim of helping to reduce the amount of paperwork processed by the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy, and reducing the turnaround time for the licensees.
“We are excited about the new online availabilities for our licensees,” said Sheila Wright, acting executive director of the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy, in a media release. “We know this will be a time-saver for licensees, and be a more efficient process for the Board overall.”
These services were created through a partnership between the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy and Alabama Interactive, per the release.
