New from Cascade Lacrosse is Cascade LX, headgear specifically designed for women that meets the new approved ASTM standards for women’s lacrosse headgear and goggles.

A 3-years-long, in-depth research and development process that included fit testing, lab testing, and on-the-field feedback from female lacrosse players contributed to the Cascade LX’s design.

Its features include: an integrated goggle system that increases face comfort and improves the user experience; a fit system with integrated cheek pads and a rear-adjustable strap; PORON XRD Material, made from a pliable and multi-purpose foam that offers comfort and the ability to dissipate forces experienced upon impact; and a tough but flexible outer shell.

“We are extremely excited to introduce the Cascade LX headgear to the lacrosse community,” says Jenna Abelli, category manager, Women’s Lacrosse, Cascade Lacrosse, in a media release from the Liverpool, NY-based company. “Although it is an optional piece of equipment, the integrated system of the Cascade LX headgear makes the transition from goggles as seamless as possible.”

Per the release, the Cascade LX meets the newly created ASTM standard F3137 for women’s lacrosse headgear and the updated ASTM standard for women’s lacrosse eyewear.

Six colorways are available, with custom decal options.
